Our base is Aphrodites Retreat House, in a village that has become a second home for me in Greece. The Sea of Corinth and Mt. Parnassus, with Delphi perched half way up, are always sources of easeful inspiration.
There is an option to meet up in Athens on day 1, with airport pick-up, accommodation, and a group dinner at the base of the Acropolis. The 2nd will be open for visiting the Agora, Acropolis, and other ancient sites of Athens, all within walking distance.
On day 3 our yoga retreat commences in the Delphi region.
Daily yoga and meditation accompanied by swims in the gentle sea, enjoyment of the lovely ambience of the village, space to consider the potency of the elements of nature, and how we may know their wisdom in our own bodies.
A day trip to the sacred site of Delphi, a cathedral that exists organically in the mountain, with subterranean oracular shrines, powerful temples, and what was considered the Center of the World, all existing within it over time, and maybe still!
Somehow it has become an almost yearly pilgrimage for me. It will be wonderful to share the journey with you!
There are some interesting caves and walks in the area and for those who would like to, day hikes will be arranged.

Note: This retreat will be neccesarily small. The dates can very much be determined by those of you who will join this experience! The other factor is availbility of the retreat house. The sooner we discuss dates, the sooner we can confirm our week!
